Besides: "Il Glicine " facade before works

This is a complete example of a recent restoration with
interior design and landscaping on the apartment " Il
Glicine " about 1400,00 sq.ft of covered surface
plus 1400,00 sq.ft. of
terraces in Galatone about 6 km. from the Ionian shore.
The work started on November 15,
2004 and now is completely finished. As you can see from the photographs,
to the left,
the facades were totally redone with specific care for the
pediment from 1600'.
Galatone
is a small town well connected to the highway Lecce-
Gallipoli , only 10 minutes away from the magnificent port
of Gallipoli ( the name originates from the Greek and means
Beautiful City ) , and 15 minutes from Lecce named the Florence of
the South, 10 km from Galatina Airport, 0ne hour from the Brindisi
airport.

All doors and windows were recuperated, restored and
re-installed, as well as all antique original hardware. All plant
engineering is brand new including the boiler and air conditioning
system, all magnificent 15 ft. high domical vaults were completely
restored, as well as the splendid wood beams covering of the
ceilings.
The " Pietra Leccese" ( Lecce 's stone) f
looring was completely reconditioned. The windows have mosquito nets
and beautiful wrought iron grates.
The kitchen
is completely furnished and through an arch with a sliding door
is connected to the dining room. From the dining room we can
exit to the level terrace which is surrounded
by a gorgeous white lattice gazebo that is full of beautiful plants
and flowers.
Bathrooms
are completely furnished as well (one with a large shower, the 2nd
with Jacuzzi-tub)
All
terraces are served by an automatic irrigation system.
